Thursday photo prompt: Murmur #writephoto

For visually challenged writers, the image shows dark clouds and bare trees against a fiery sunset, with a murmration of starlings creating a cloud of their own.

This is the continuation of John and Susan. I have decided to make this a book. Obviously, there will be a different start and even changes to the chapters and names. I will take this to a certain point to keep your attention while I can, but like the other week when I had to break into this story because the picture didn’t work, it may end at any time although I will try to give you a gist of the story.

The Story Starts To Unfold

By Teresa Smeigh 2019

Joanne’s mind started to wander as she listened to the murmur of voices, especially Jack’s. She looked out at the most spectacular sunset. It was beautiful.

Joanne brought her mind back to the story. He was telling them how he met her. She had been on her knees in his mother’s room cleaning the floors. His mother insisted they be cleaned on Joanne’s knees. She squinted up at him while she continued to clean.

He sought her out when she wasn’t working, and his mother was nowhere around. They talked. She was from England, so she knew he was married already, so she was leery of running into his wife.

Conscious of their ages, he told the story for younger teens. They began seeing each other whenever they could, avoiding his mother and wife. For the most part, he was cheating on his wife. One day Joanne told him she was pregnant. They had a choice to make. Should he divorce his wife but not tell her why? He married Joanne, and they found out they were having twins. Now he either had to tell his wife, Princess Isabella the story or he and Joanne had to move away, but separate, each taking one of the twins with them. They married before the births of the twins.

Joanne had her heart set on moving to the United States of America. She took John and headed to America. Jack took Oliver and moved over to England and found a charming little town to live in. He met a woman, Priscilla, so he told Joanne that he wanted a divorce so he could marry Priscilla.

Joanne was heartbroken as she never got over Jack, but she signed the paperwork, and he got married before Oliver was three years old. Oliver didn’t remember Joanne. Priscilla was his mom even though she was his step-mom.

They never contacted each other again, and slowly Joanne got over Jack, or so she thought. Until today. She can’t believe she fainted when she saw her two sons together.
