#WEEKENDCOFFEESHARE : Saw my dad, sister arranged it!

Directions from ECLECTICALLI

Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!

Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?

All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from Friday, February 8th at 7am (Pacific Time) until Monday, February 11th at 7am (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

If we were having coffee, I would be drinking iced tea because I hate coffee and can’t stand this heat. The heat is really acting up with my asthma and now my air conditioner has broken down and it is still hot and I can’t take the heat. I have a repairman coming on September 9th. You may have coffee or tea, whichever you prefer.

I got a chance to see my dad thanks to my sister. She said if I could make it to the lobby she would bring my dad down. I did, she did and we had a nice visit.

My breathing problems are easier. Still bad, but not as bad.

I would also tell you that Sunday is still brunch with my BFF. We meet every Sunday including this morning unless something comes up, which isn’t often. I look forward to it. Although we did meet my friend had a car accident on the way to the restaurant. She wasn’t hurt thankfully and the car had minor damage.

Enjoy your weekend.

Birdie Costume

By Teresa Smeigh 2019

Kellie had a costume party to go to. She searched for a costume at the local store. Nothing suited her. Suddenly in the back of the store, she found a bag and looked inside. She found a bird costume. It had a red-breast, so she assumed it was a robin red-breast. She paid the salesgirl and headed home.

She pulled up videos on the computer to get an idea of how the bird acts. She got a few ideas on movements and practiced them. She thought they looked convincing.

Arriving at the party she was shocked to find out no one else was dressed in a costume. They had played a prank on her and tricked her into wearing a costume. As they started to laugh at her she burst into tears.
