“I don’t know Drew. I like the cheeriness of the place, but I don’t like its history.”

“The price is right!”

“You know why.”

“Yes, the squatters made a mess, but someone already started the renovation. We would just have to finish it.”

“Oh Drew, it is our first place and I didn’t want to renovate our first place together.”

“Look we do this all the time, so why not do our first place together? If you really object, I will do the renovation myself.”

“No Drew, I want to do our own home together.”

100 Word Challenge – inspiration is the word Denial

I am usually in denial when it comes to writing a story. I don’t like the happy endings so many people who read look for in whatever they are reading.

The way I figure it, life is not always a happy ending. Most of my life is not happy endings as will be part of my memoir. Don’t get me wrong, there will be some happy stuff as my entire life wasn’t a disaster either.

You can’t convince me that someone, doesn’t have a plan for me, but I am not thinking it is going to be a happy one.
