Mary took her two sons, John and James to an amusement park. They were interested in the Ferris wheel. Mary told them they had 2 hours and to stay together. “Text me if there’s a problem.”

Noting that the Ferris wheel had been stationary for a while Mary worried. She headed over there and found that the wheel was broken down and she didn’t know if her boys were on it or not. “No text!”

She watched in horror as she saw first one, then her 2^nd son climb over the side of the wheel and start to climb down.

Jane picked out a doll that she adored. She took it home and set it in its spot in her bedroom.

That night she came to loathe that doll. The doll was as big as her. She couldn’t look at it anymore because she was sure that that doll was watching her every move with its eyes. She despised it and told her parents the next morning that they had to get ride of that detestable doll immediately.

Help Me!

I was being pushed further and further back into the building by the advancing fire. I was in a panic.

“Help!” I yelled though I didn’t think anyone would hear me. I tried to focus on the area I was in and how I could get out. I was in the dining room and the doors were locked.

I kept on yelling and finally someone appeared across the room. The fire ran between us.

He yelled, “Throw a chair through one of those huge windows and go out behind the building and make your way through the brush and around to the front.

“The windows?” It never occurred to me in my panic.
