Questions:
Do You Have Any Guilty Pleasures? Ice cream and other sugary treats, chocolate occasionally, and milkshakes.
What Is The Worst Pick Up Line You Ever Heard? I had posted a personal ad looking for a man and stated the specific age group. I got an email asking if whatever age he happened to be was too old. I don’t know why he didn’t lie like most of them did.
For the guys: What’s The Worst Pick Up Line You’ve Used?
What Slang Or Trend Makes You Feel Old? Life makes me feel old. When I am with my dad at the long term care facility the women there hate me because they are convinced I am his wife and they are jealous. He doesn’t look 87 so I must look older than my 62.
What Do You Consider The Most Over-rated Song? I am not big into music unless it is rock and roll or punk or heavy metal. I hate love songs.
Instead of a Tender Mercies question, here’s a philosophical one instead:
You Find A Book And Begin To Read Only To Discover That It Is Your Life. You Get To The Point That You Are At Now, Do You Turn The Page Knowing That You Will Not Be Able To Change The Events To Come? Well if it was good news I would want to know, but there is no guarantee of that. I don’t know what to do in this situation. Because trying to live with bad news coming and you know it would be too hard.
Of course if you wish to share a Grateful For Tender Mercies (aka grateful, optimistic or happy) comment, that’s fine too!
